Kelin Company Limited has been appointed to support the marketing of Tata Chemicals Magadi's high-quality natural dense soda ash in Myanmar, expanding access to a reliable African source for industrial buyers.
The first 345 MT shipment of natural soda ash is scheduled to arrive in Myanmar in March 2026, following container loading from the producer in January 2026.
Produced in Magadi, Kenya, the soda ash is derived from trona deposits at Lake Magadi and processed near the mining site before being transported by rail to Mombasa for onward shipment.
